Rikka’s love for jewelry began as a little girl, playing dress-up with her mother’s collection. She was always amazed by how a straightforward piece could complete an outfit and instantly elevate her sense of style. That early fascination stayed with her, eventually evolving into a personal collection and a passion for creating her designs, which began with craft beads and expanded from there.

Though creativity was always a part of her, Rikka first pursued a career in the medical field. She graduated with a degree in Medical Technology and earned her international license in 2016. For several years, she worked behind the scenes in laboratories, analyzing body fluids, tissues, and reporting results under the microscope. While she’s grateful for the experience and everything it taught her, she knows her true calling is elsewhere.

That calling led to the birth of Eight Two Eight—a name inspired by Romans 8:28, which reminds us that in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him. Just as the verse promises redemption and renewed purpose, Rikka applies that same belief to her work—transforming gold into timeless, intentional pieces that are made to last and made with meaning.
